"Bravely and Faithfully"
The National Campus Watch Association works to support and oversee existing campus watch programs and to advocate for and implement new campus watch programs across the United States. To further this goal, N.C.W.A. provides accreditation for these programs and a certification program for their members in event security, threat assessment, ethics, law, and more.
Our pilot program, Lipscomb Campus Watch, was established in Fall 2023 with an inaugural team of seven members. And while the team did good work promoting general safety around campus and watching for suspicious activity, it wasn't until Spring 2024 that the program had it's first major university partnership: "Singarama." Lipscomb University's Student Life Office invited Campus Watch to work event security for the annual student led musical and largest event of the year. Over three days and four shows, Lipscomb Campus Watch provided event security and crowd control with great results. Since then, it has successfully completed over ten events and including the Honors College Small Business Bash, Dodgeball in Fanning, and Quest Week's Campus Wide Worship Night.
